MAN's eTruck and award-winning eBus take centre stage at Transport 2023

MAN eTruck

MAN, a leading truck and bus manufacturer, is set to showcase its latest innovations at the upcoming Transport fair in Herning, Denmark. The event, which runs from 20-22 April, will provide a platform for MAN to unveil its brand new 100 percent electric truck, the MAN eTruck. This marks the first trade fair appearance of the eTruck since its debut at the IAA trade fair in Hannover last autumn.

The MAN eTruck is a significant milestone in the company's eMobility strategy. Alongside the award-winning MAN Lions City E electric bus, it demonstrates the company's commitment to reducing emissions and embracing the need for a more climate-friendly transport of both goods and people. MAN's Managing Director in Denmark, Malte Kauert, expressed his excitement about the eTruck's unveiling, calling it "a bit of a scoop" and a chance to showcase "our present and future in one and the same truck to our many interested customers."

But MAN's commitment to sustainable transport continues after electric vehicles. The company also recognizes the importance of diesel engines in the current market and will be showcasing its latest diesel cars at the fair. MAN has been updating and renewing its entire truck program in recent years and will demonstrate its new safety and comfort technology, including the newly developed mirrorless concept, MAN OptiView.

MAN's presence at the fair also includes showcasing their vans, such as the premium MAN TGE, which is already well-known in the market. Nicolai Sperling, MAN's Van Manager, explained that the company's "truck DNA" and experience in advising business customers make it a natural choice to stand together with their truck colleagues and appear as one united collective when engaging with customers.

Another key aspect of MAN's commitment to the future of transport is its investment in digital solutions. MAN Digital Service will have a central role at the fair, showcasing intuitive systems that make life easier for truckers and drivers. MAN's Digital Service specialists will demonstrate the assistance packages that can be offered to customers, ensuring a more economical and efficient drive.

The unveiling of the eTruck, alongside the award-winning Lions City E electric bus and new diesel cars, highlights the company's broad approach to meeting the needs of its customers. The demonstration of new safety and comfort technology and their investment in digital solutions further cements MAN's position as a leader in the industry, ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the future. @via Transport fair in Herning.
