RAM Trucks is set to revolutionize the light pickup truck market by unveiling its first-ever battery-electric pickup truck, the 2025 RAM 1500 REV, at the New York International Auto Show. The RAM 1500 REV is not only a breakthrough in the world of electric vehicles but also outperforms its competition in areas that matter most to customers.
With the option of two all-electric powertrain solutions, the RAM 1500 REV offers a standard 168-kilowatt-hour battery pack with a target range of up to 560 kilometers and an optional 229-kilowatt-hour large battery pack with a target range of up to an unmatched 800 kilometers. The 800-volt direct current fast charging with up to 350 kilowatts provides fast and convenient charging solutions, with the ability to add a range of up to 177 kilometers in about 10 minutes.
But the RAM 1500 REV is not just about range and power. It offers bi-directional vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-home, and vehicle-to-grid charging, providing the flexibility to charge another Stellantis battery electric vehicle or provide power back to the grid. The RAM 1500 REV can power a house during a power outage, be the center of a tailgate party, or supply electricity at the campsite or construction site, making life easier for its users.
The RAM 1500 REV also boasts impressive performance data, accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.4 seconds, 481 kilowatts (654 hp) of power, and 840 Newton meters of torque. It has a wading depth of up to 60 centimeters, a trailer load of up to 6,350 kilograms, and a maximum payload of up to 1,225 kilograms.
