The Toyota RAV4 is one of the best-selling vehicles in the US, and for good reason. It offers a spacious and comfortable cabin, a smooth and efficient powertrain, and a variety of trim levels and features to suit different needs and preferences. The RAV4 also has a reputation for reliability and durability, making it a smart choice for long-term ownership.
But as the competition in the compact SUV segment heats up. The Japanese automaker has made some updates to the RAV4 for the 2024 model year, aiming to keep it fresh and appealing to new and loyal customers alike. Here's what you need to know about the 2024 Toyota RAV4.
New Color and Features
The most noticeable change for the 2024 Toyota RAV4 is the addition of a new exterior color option: Cavalry Blue. This vibrant hue replaces Lunar Rock as one of the available colors for the RAV4, giving it a more eye-catching and sporty look. Cavalry Blue is also offered on other Toyota models, such as the Toyota Tacoma and theToyota 4Runner.
Besides the new color, the 2024 Toyota RAV4 also has some new features across the trim levels. The base LE model now comes standard with LED fog lights and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adding more visibility and safety to the entry-level RAV4. The XLE model also gains LED fog lights, as well as heated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support. These features were previously optional on the XLE.
The XLE Premium model gets a more significant upgrade, as it now includes the XLE Convenience Package as standard equipment. This package adds a power liftgate, a moonroof, and dual-zone automatic climate control to the XLE Premium, enhancing its convenience and comfort. The Adventure model also benefits from this package, as well as a new leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
The Limited model, which is the top-of-the-line RAV4, receives some minor changes as well. It now comes with a 10-inch color head-up display, which projects key information such as speed, navigation, and safety alerts onto the windshield. The Limited model also gets a new black interior option with brown accents, giving it a more premium and sophisticated feel.
