Hyundai is expanding its Genesis premium brand to Europe once more, following its success in Asia and the United States. A previous attempt had failed a few years back. So, in the UK, Germany, and Switzerland, sales of South Korean vehicles will begin this summer. In addition, there are various entirely electric cars available in addition to traditional combustion engines.
Genesis promises its European customers "excellent" customer service, including complete assistance and personal interaction, in addition to high-quality, comfortable, and powerful cars. The Genesis company distributes its products online and through "Genesis Studios" in desirable city locations, with the latter being the first to launch in London, Munich, and Zurich. The emphasis is also on direct delivery to the customer's house or business; Genesis can even pick up the vehicle if required.
Genesis will begin selling the nearly five-meter-long G80 sedan and its SUV counterpart GV80 in Europe in June, followed by the smaller G70 and GV70 models shortly after. In 2021 we will also see the debut of an electric car series explicitly developed for Europe. The Electrified G80, Genesis's first production electric vehicle, was launched recently and available in Europe. In addition, two more electric cars are scheduled for release in 2021, one of which will be built on a platform specifically developed for battery-powered vehicles, most likely Hyundai's Electric-Global Modular Platform ( E-GMP ).
