Dacia Spring: The Affordable and Practical Electric Car for Everyone

Dacia Spring

Electric cars are becoming more popular and accessible, but they still face some challenges, such as high prices, limited range, and charging infrastructure. That's why Dacia, the Romanian car brand known for its low-cost and reliable vehicles, has launched the Dacia Spring, its first all-electric car that aims to revolutionize the market.

The Dacia Spring is a small city car that combines the advantages of electric mobility with the features of an SUV. It has a dynamic and fun style, a spacious and comfortable interior, a large trunk and a range of 225 km in the WLTP cycle (295 km in WLTP City), which is enough for a week of urban driving. It also offers various safety and comfort equipment, such as automatic emergency braking, rear parking sensors and camera, speed limiter, hill start assist and multimedia system with a 7-inch touchscreen.

But what makes the Dacia Spring really stand out is its affordability. It is the cheapest electric car on the market, with a starting price of less than 20,000 euros in Europe (including batteries). It also has low running costs, thanks to its maintenance-free electric motor and battery warranty of eight years or 120,000 km. Moreover, it benefits from various incentives and subsidies for electric vehicles in different countries.

The Spring is not only a car for private customers but also a solution for new forms of mobility, such as car-sharing and last-mile delivery. Dacia offers specific versions of the Spring for these segments, with adapted features and services. For example, the Dacia Spring Cargo is a utility version that replaces the rear seats with a flat loading area of 800 liters and 325 kg payload. The Dacia Spring Car-Sharing is a version designed for car-sharing operators, with easy access via smartphone, remote fleet management, and geolocation.

Dacia Spring is the result of two unique areas of expertise: Dacia's expertise in offering essential cars at the right price and Renault Group's expertise in designing high-performance and reliable electric vehicles, thanks to its ten years of experience and leadership in this field. With the Spring, Dacia and Renault Group aim to make electric mobility accessible to everyone, especially in urban areas where it can contribute to reducing pollution and noise.

Dacia Spring is more than just an electric car. It is a smart choice for those who want to enjoy the benefits of electric mobility without compromising on practicality and affordability. It is also a way to join a community of drivers who care about the environment and the future of mobility.
