The Fiat 500 electric car is the best-selling electric city car in the first half of 2021, just in Denmark until now. And with the brand new and revolutionary LEASYS UNLIMITED private leasing, it can be leased with unlimited km for 510 euros/month and 0 euros in advance payment.
The Danes have welcomed the new electric Fiat 500, which was introduced in Denmark at the end of 2020. This is shown by the statement of sales of electric cars in the A and B segments for the first half of 2021. The Fiat 500 electric car takes 1st place in its own A segment, and if you look at both the A and B segments, the small, handsome electric vehicle is also number one overall.
This makes the Fiat 500 the best-selling electric city car in the country (Denmark). With 337 units sold, it accounts for 46.6 % of sales of electric cars in the A-segment and 23.4 % in the A- and B-segment. Since the end of the first half of the year, sales have continued, and to date, a total of 379 Fiat 500s have been sold this year.
There are several causes why it is successful. The Fiat 500e has a classic 500 charm in excess, and then it was created as an electric car from the start. Thus, the latest Italian icon is designed for the new technology, and it is available with a level of autonomous driving not seen before in the class.
It comes in three different versions - hatchback, convertible and the smart 3 + 1, which has an extra rear-hinged door on the high side, which provides easy access to the rear seat. The equipment variants are called Action, Passion, Icon and the top-equipped "la Prima", and the Fiat 500 has a range of up to 316 km WLTP and a total of 445 km in the city. Prices start at 25,500 euros, and it can also be privately leased.
The position at the top of the sales lists comes at the same time as Fiat is the first in the automotive industry to launch a completely new and revolutionary type of private leasing of the Fiat 500 Icon and 500C Icon. It is called LEASYS UNLIMITED, and as the name suggests, it is a private lease with unlimited km.
The usual benefits - service, maintenance, budget security and roadside assistance - are, of course, still included, but without unlimited km and the risk of having to pay for overrun km, you achieve complete freedom. That freedom can even be obtained for 0 euros in the first payment and a monthly payment of just 510 euros for 36 months for the Fiat 500 Icon. For the Fiat 500C Icon, which has a hood, the payout is 0 euros, while the monthly payment is 537 euros.
In addition to unlimited mobility, the Fiat 500 Icon also comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, a 10.25-inch touch screen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, air conditioning, rain sensor, automatic light sensor, lane assistant, cruise control and automatic emergency brake with pedestrian detection and much other equipment. And the range is at 316 km WLTP and up to 443 km in the city.
If you combine LEASYS UNLIMITED private leasing with a subscription for charging, you can drive as much as you want at wholly fixed costs.
The new Fiat 500 has grown by 6 centimetres in both width and length, and the wheelbase has been extended by 2 centimetres, which, together with improved storage space, makes it more spacious. It comes in four equipment variants and in three different versions - namely as the well-known and iconic hatchback and convertible as well as a new and smart 3 + 1.
The Fiat 500e 3 + 1 is a small revolution. It has the same shape and dimensions as the other versions of the Fiat 500 and fixed roof. And then it has a smaller door at the back in an extension of the normal door. The small rear door is hinged at the rear. This allows you to open up the entire side of the car and get optimal access to the rear seat if, for example, you must put children in the car or if you have larger goods with you. The small door can only be opened in connection with the regular door. This is not the first time that the Fiat 500 has a rear-hinged door, and thus 3 + 1 is also a nod to the original Fiat 500 from 1957, whose doors were also rear-hinged.
The launch model Fiat 500e "la Prima" was presented in the spring. It offers the best in technology, and as the first city car, it comes with autonomous driving at level 2 for 36,000 euros. It is now complemented by the three equipment variants Action, Passion and Icon. Fiat 500 Action is created for the city and only comes as a hatchback with a battery of 23.7 kWh, a range of up to 180 km WLTP. It has an automatic emergency brake that also detects pedestrians and cyclists. It has a lane departure warning system, sign recognition, inattention alarm and automated emergency call. In addition, it offers 15 '' rims, LED daytime running lights, manual air conditioning, electric parking brake, 7 '' TFT display behind the wheel, Keyless Go, four speakers and tinted electric mirrors. It comes with an emergency cable and a mode three input to charge fast with both alternating and direct current with up to 50 kW.
The style of the new Fiat 500 electric car is contemporary. It's clear that this is a brand new car, but it's also clear that it's a Fiat 500. The front is vertical as it was in 1957, and the headlights are iconic but also contemporary. Nevertheless, the Fiat 500 is still a car with a smile, and it has not lost its carefree charm. A practical example of this is a unique detail - the car's AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alert System), which transforms at speeds above 20 km / h. to the theme from Fellini's film Amarcord, composed by Nino Rota.
