Ford Pro and Deutsche Post DHL Group have signed a letter of intent to use more electric vans to transport goods worldwide. With this, both companies promise to provide good services for the environment.
Ford Pro will give Deutsche Post DHL Group more than 2,000 electric vans to show the planned partnership by 2023. This will make it even more likely that the world's best logistics company will be the first to use electric vans to deliver goods on the "last mile."
The letter of intent also lists many ways to manage a fleet of all-electric cars. These include Ford Pro's connected E-Telematics software and charging solutions to cut costs and improve efficiency.
Ford's goal is that by 2035, all of the company's factories, distribution, and suppliers, as well as the cars it sells in Europe, will be carbon neutral. The goal for the whole world is to have no carbon emissions by 2050.
