The new Ford Mustang Mach-E is available for pre-orders through the network of European Ford dealers specialising in electric vehicles.
Technologies available on the standard model include:
> The single-pedal driving function helps to recover a greater amount of kinetic energy that it transfers to the battery for greater efficiency.
> Co-Pilot 360, which offers advanced camera-based and radar-based driver assistance features, as well as lane-keeping assistance, roadside detection and blind-spot assistance, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise control with Stop and Go and road sign recognition.
> The state-of-the-art SYNC interface can be accessed via a 15.5-inch touch screen and allows customization of 80 vehicle settings, from passenger compartment temperature and seat position to ambient lighting.
> Artificial intelligence that allows machine learning helps the system understand drivers' habits over time better, learning from their routine to make appropriate navigation and communication suggestions at the right time.
> Phone As A Key is offered first by Ford Mustang Mach-E; via Bluetooth, the vehicle can detect the owner's smartphone as it approaches, unlocking the doors and allowing him to start the car without taking his phone out of his pocket or using a key.
> E Latch is a new approach for operating doors that will open 40 mm to allow the driver or passenger to open them entirely by pressing the dedicated buttons on the door pillars.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is available with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive; both versions can be paired with a standard or extended range battery. The version with a comprehensive range and rear-wheel drive has a range of up to 610 km measured in WLTP mode. The battery is charged from 10% to 80% in 38 minutes for the standard battery version and 45 minutes for the extended battery version.
Ford Mustang Mach-E, equipped with the rear-wheel-drive system, provides 269 hp in the version with battery with standard autonomy, respectively 294 hp in the version with a bigger battery.
Ford announced earlier this year that 100% of its European car range would be emissions-free, fully electric or plug-in hybrid by mid-2026; the switchover to electricity will be completed by 2030.
