At the Auto Awards 2022, the Skoda Enyaq iV was named Family Car of the Year. This year, 65,000 votes were cast, propelling Denmark's best-selling electric vehicle to the top of the rankings.
This year's best-selling electric vehicle in Denmark is Business Car 2023 and Family Car of the Year 2022. The titles are on the way for Skoda's electric SUV, which took first place at the recently held Auto Awards 2022. The fact that the Skoda Enyaq iV won in the family car category adds to Skoda Denmark's excitement.
"The core of Skoda is spacious, practical, and inexpensive family automobiles. Also regarding electricity. As a result, the fact that the Skoda Enyaq iV has been named Family Car of the Year 2022 means a lot to us," says Thomas Bruun, director of Skoda Denmark.
The Auto Awards are the automotive industry's equivalent of the Academy Awards. A jury of motoring writers picked the Skoda Enyaq iV and votes were cast on the Auto Awards website. This year, 65,000 votes were submitted, resulting in Denmark's best-selling electric car, the Skoda Enyaq iV, being voted Family Car of the Year 2022.
"We appreciate the professional recognition, but we are equally thrilled that many individuals have named the Skoda Enyaq iV their favorite family car. This is consistent with the fact that the Skoda Enyaq iV has driven off most Danish highways this year," says Thomas Bruun.
The Skoda Enyaq iV 80 was chosen as the Business car of 2023 just over two weeks ago. After two days of competition against a half-dozen other electric cars in the company class, Business Danmark and Jyllands-Posten named the company car of the year. The jury concluded that the Skoda Enyaq iV 80 is spacious, practical, and solid, with long-range and excellent equipment at an affordable price.
The Skoda Enyaq iV 80 has a starting price of 56,600 euros. It boasts a 204 hp electric engine, an 82 kWh battery (77 kWh net), and a range of up to 542 km (WLTP). With 135 kW, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in half an hour (DC).
Finally, the Skoda Enyaq Coupé RS iV has won the Golden Wheel 2022 in the medium-sized SUV category. A jury of experts awarded it the electric sports model after readers of Auto Bild, and Bild am Sonntag, Germany's leading Sunday newspapers, voted it in the final. The Golden Wheel began 25 years ago and has grown to become one of Europe's most prestigious car awards.
