The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E has been released, and the electric SUV is now available to order. The model is an even more attractive option for those considering the purchase of a fully electric car. The new collection is straightforward and offers even more comfortable equipment and new driver assistance technologies. Production of the new model year starts at the end of November.
"We are constantly aspiring to improve the features of the Ford Mustang Mach-E so that we always have one of the most versatile and best electric cars on the market. Now the collection is even more comprehensively equipped. In addition, the increase in the towing weight of the two models and the previously approved roof load of up to 75 kg are features that we know many of our customers have been hoping for", says Miikka Sandholm, product manager, Oy Ford Ab. "Furthermore, the electric car's features enhance over time thanks to wireless updates."
The names and standard equipment of the Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUVs change with the new 2023 model year, and there are now three very comprehensive trim levels: Mach-E, Premium, and GT. The entire lineup is now as follows:
- Ford Mustang Mach-E 75 kWh 269 hp RWD
- Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium 98 kWh 294 hp RWD
- Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium 75 kWh 269 hp AWD
- Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium 98 kWh 351 hp AWD
- Ford Mustang Mach-E GT 98 kWh 487 hp AWD
The new Premium equipment level available for the rear-wheel drive extended range model (98 kWh) is even more comprehensive and is very close to the previous AWD equipment. The model's standard equipment includes, among other things, 19-inch light alloy wheels, red brake calipers, adaptive LED headlights with glare-free high beams, and electrically adjustable front seats.
The Premium equipment level with four-wheel drive is wider than the rear-wheel drive Premium model and includes a hands-free tailgate and the B&O Premium audio system. The equipment is also available for rear-wheel drive models as optional equipment.
The standard equipment of the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT model now includes a panoramic glass roof in addition to the previous standard equipment of the models.
The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUV is using Ford's new intelligent active cruise control 2.0, which, in addition to speed limit signs, uses the information it receives through the navigation system and the front camera and automatically adjusts the car's speed, also taking into account sharp bends and turns and roundabouts ahead.
The prices of the Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUV start at 64,490 euros.
The wheel selection will expand, and in the future, the new black 19-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels will be available as optional equipment for the Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium and Ford Mustang Mach-E GT models. The design of the rims is the same as the standard rims.
There will also be changes to the exterior color selection of the model. Vapor Blue will be available as a new color for the Ford Mustang Mach-E collection. The model's launch color, popular Carbonized Gray, will return to the selection.
The towing ability of the Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium SUV extended range models increases from 1,000 kg to 1,500 kg, which expands the car's usage possibilities, including towing a larger trailer.
Earlier this year, the supported weight by Mach-E's roof was confirmed, which is 75 kg with a steel roof and 65 kg with a glass roof. Its ability to adapt is increased by the model's front trunk, "Frunk," which has a volume of 100 liters.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E was developed from the ground up to deliver the character and performance of the iconic Mustang sports car. The first electric SUV model in the Mustang family is even more attractive and ready to strengthen the electric revolution.
