Lancia Pu-Ra HPE: The Electric Car That Brings Back the Italian Style

Lancia Pu-Ra HPE

Lancia, the legendary Italian car brand, is making a comeback in Europe with its new concept vehicle, the Lancia Pu-Ra HPE. This electric car combines the heritage and elegance of Lancia with the innovation and sustainability of Stellantis, the multinational automotive group that owns Lancia and other brands such as Fiat, Peugeot, and Jeep.

The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is not just a car, but a lifestyle statement. It is designed to appeal to customers who value style, comfort, performance, and environmental responsibility. The name Pu-Ra stands for Pure and Rational, two qualities that define the essence of this car. HPE stands for High Performance Electric, indicating the power and efficiency of its electric drivetrain.

The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is based on the Stellantis e-CMP platform, which allows for a range of up to 310 miles (500 km) on a single charge and a fast charging capability of 80% in 30 minutes. The electric car has a power output of 150 kW (204 hp) and a torque of 260 Nm (192 lb-ft), enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 8 seconds and reach a top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h).

The exterior design of the Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is inspired by the iconic Lancia Delta, one of the most successful rally cars in history. The car features a sleek and dynamic silhouette, with a distinctive front grille, LED headlights, and a panoramic roof. The body color is a metallic blue that evokes the Mediterranean sea, while the wheels are painted in gold to contrast with the blue and create a sense of luxury.

The interior design of the Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is equally stunning, with a spacious and comfortable cabin that can accommodate four passengers. The dashboard is dominated by a 12-inch touchscreen integrating all the infotainment and connectivity functions and a digital instrument cluster displaying all the driving information. The seats are upholstered in leather and Alcantara, with blue stitching and embroidery that match the exterior color. The steering wheel and the gear selector are also covered in leather, with gold accents that add a touch of refinement.

The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is not only a beautiful car, but also a smart one. It is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that ensure safety and convenience on the road, such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, and parking assist. The car also features wireless charging for smartphones, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a premium sound system by Harman Kardon.

The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE has yet to be made available for sale, but it is touring Europe to showcase its potential and attract new customers. The car has already visited Spain and Germany, two markets where Lancia has been absent for years. The tour will continue in countries like France, Belgium, and Switzerland, where Lancia hopes to re-establish its presence and reputation.

The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is more than just a concept car. It is also a vision of the future of mobility, where electric cars are eco-friendly, stylish, comfortable, and fun to drive. The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE represents the values of Lancia, a brand that has always been at the forefront of innovation and creativity in the automotive industry. The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is the result of the collaboration between Lancia and Stellantis, a group that combines the strengths and expertise of 14 different car brands, each with its own identity and heritage.

The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is not only a car for today, but also for tomorrow. It is designed to adapt to customers' changing needs and preferences, who increasingly demand more personalization, connectivity, and sustainability from their vehicles. The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE offers a range of customization options, such as different colors, materials, and accessories, that allow customers to create their own unique car. The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE also provides a seamless integration with the digital world, thanks to its advanced infotainment system and its compatibility with various online services and platforms. The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE also contributes to reducing emissions and preserving the environment, thanks to its zero-emission electric powertrain and its use of recycled and renewable materials.

The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is inspired by the culture and lifestyle of Italy, a country that is renowned for its art, fashion, and cuisine. The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE also reflects the spirit and passion of Italy, a country that is known for its innovation, creativity, and enthusiasm.

The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is not only a car for now, but also for the future. It is designed to anticipate the trends and challenges of the next decade, when electric cars will become more prevalent and competitive in the market. The Lancia Pu-Ra HPE is ready to face these challenges with confidence and optimism, thanks to its cutting-edge technology, stunning design, and outstanding performance.
