The Opel Zafira-e Life is ideal for people who desire additional space and flexibility, as well as the option of using the electric drive on weekend trips outside of town or camping. The Opel Zafira-e Life electric van from the German manufacturer will be on display at this year's Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. The Crosscamp brand will present the Crosscamp Flex version based on the Zafira-e Life model. The vehicle can be used like an Opel van and has a lot of different uses. It also meets the requirements for motorhome travel without emissions.
The lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 75 kWh (installed under the floor without compromising internal space) allows for longer journeys. The battery provides for a range of up to 322 kilometers. Charging is simple and can be done with a wall charger, a rapid charger, or even a domestic power socket. In about 48 minutes, 100 kW DC charging recharges the battery to 80 percent capacity. To keep a reserve of energy in the battery for the drive, the electric campervan also has a 95 Ah auxiliary battery that powers the lights, a cooler, and a USB connector for charging cellphones or cameras.
The Crosscamp Flex electric campervan, like every other Crosscamp, includes everything you need for a vacation. Among the valuable features are front chairs with a 180-degree rotation function, a kitchenette with a sink, a gas stove, cabinets, and containers for drinking water and sewage. In the Crosscamp Flex, four people can sleep thanks to the back sofa with a double bed function and two additional sleeping areas beneath the lifting roof.
All Crosscamp campervan variations based on the Zafira-e Life come standard with various Opel van driver aid technologies. As a result, there is a vehicle collision warning function, an emergency braking system, a driver fatigue detection system, a lane assist system, and a road sign recognition system, all of which are linked to semi-adaptive cruise control.
Next year, the Crosscamp Flex electric campervan will join the diesel Crosscamp lineup. The Crosscamp Lite, an electric motorhome, is also in the works. @via Crosscamp.
