Opel is holding a contest to get growing artists and designers to develop their versions of the Opel Rocks-e electric city car. A single, one-of-a-kind Opel Rocks-e SUM battery-electric vehicle will be built ( Sustainable Urban Mobility ). The cutting-edge Opel Rocks-e is the German market's first locally electric quadricycle, available for purchase and registration beginning on January 15, 2015. Today, Opel is extending an open invitation to young people worldwide to create an Opel Rocks-e electric car concept.
Opel has announced the Rocks-e Design Challenge, a social media-based design competition for young creative talents. Artists and designers will be invited to develop a unique concept for the electric two-seater light city car. Non-professional design students between 18 and 27 are eligible to enter the competition.
