Kia has finally unveiled the EV6 GT's price and specs. The price tag for Kia EV6 GT is 69,990 euros. Orders for the model have begun to be accepted by Kia. "With the EV6 GT, Kia is redefining the crossover market," says Thomas Djuren, head of Kia Germany. "With the EV6 GT, Kia is proving that an all-electric crossover can give driving enjoyment and thrills in a way never seen before."

Kia's quickest vehicle is a nearly 4.7-meter all-wheel drive built on the electric platform's new E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Architecture). The Kia EV6 GT electric crossover can reach 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 260 km/h with a system output of 430 kW (585 horsepower). Two motors, one on each axle, can spin at rates up to 21,000 rpm. The Kia EV6's front-mounted engine was kept for this model. Silicon carbide semiconductors power the two-stage inverter in the advanced design of the new rear engine.

Kia touts the high-performance chassis as being dynamic and finely tuned, and it is responsible for transferring the maximum torque of 740 Nm to the road. It adds that the vehicle's "fascinating driving dynamics" are due to its low center of gravity, direct steering, strong brakes, electronic damper control, and an electronic limited-slip differential. The EV6 electric car has a "drift" mode that may send up to one hundred percent of the drive power to the rear wheels and a "GT" mode that can automatically select the most dynamic setting for all drive and chassis systems. The "My Drive" setting allows you to tailor the vehicle's settings to your preferences while behind the wheel.

A single charge of the Kia EV6 GT's battery should get you up to 424 kilometers of range. To fully charge the 77.4 kWh battery pack it takes only 18 minutes under ideal conditions. Kia claims that the crossover's battery preconditioning and navigation system will allow for the most efficient charging possible, even on colder days, by bringing the battery pack to the fast charging station at the optimal temperature. In addition to the standard 3-phase onboard charger for fast AC charging, there is also a heat pump to increase the effective range when temperatures are low.

The Kia EV6 GT may be told apart from the base model by looking at the front bumpers. Viewed from the side, the GT model is distinguished by its neon-colored brake calipers and 21-inch alloy wheels. A diffuser mounted on a custom-made GT bumper in the trunk stands out.

The interior features high-quality components that successfully blend sportiness and comfort. Those sporty chairs inside have vegan suede-like covers and neon accents to set the mood. The term "Electric Active Sound Design" refers to the use of the sound system to generate a customizable digital engine noise.

One distinctive feature is the interior's curved panorama display, two 31.2 cm panels for the fully digital instrument cluster, and a navigation system with Kia Connect online services. Cloud-based online navigation, up-to-the-moment traffic updates, and the visibility of charging stations with information on availability and compatibility are just a few of the features they provide. The Kia Connect software makes it possible to send and receive data wirelessly between the car and the user's smartphone and to control some features from afar.

Some of the features that come standard on this vehicle include a head-up display with augmented reality functions, a sensor-controlled power tailgate, privacy glazing (on the rear side windows and rear window), electric windows with an impulse function on all four doors, sports pedals, ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated front and rear seats. Special features are limited to a power glass sunroof and a removable trailer hitch. A braked trailer weighing up to 1.8 tons is within the Kia EV6 GT's towing capacity.
