Volkswagen has announced the price list for the new ID Buzz electric minivan. The excellent minivan starts at 64,500 euros in Germany and is also available in the cargo version. The ID Buzz orders will start this weekend in several European countries.
The 2022 Volkswagen ID Buzz, one of the most anticipated models this year, was unveiled for the first time in March. The new model announces the start of the electric age in the minivan segment and will continue the tradition of Multivan / Transporter models.
After several months of waiting, Volkswagen has officially revealed the prices of the new model. Thus, Volkswagen ID Buzz Pro, the passenger version, starts at 64,500 euros on the German market. Customers in this country will benefit from a discount of up to 7,500 euros for zero-emission cars, so the price of ID Buzz drops to 57,000 euros with the discount applied.
The Volkswagen ID Buzz Pro's primary equipment is generously equipped with:
- LED headlights.
- Adaptive Cruise Control.
- Automatic emergency braking.
- A proactive protection system.
- Electronic climate control.
- A multifunctional steering wheel.
Optionally, the model can be equipped with: LED Matrix headlights, an LED strip at the front, 18- to 20-inch wheels, LED taillights, dynamic turn signals, 11 colors, a detachable center console, and charging ports USB C.
ID Buzz's electric motor has a battery with a net capacity of 77 kWh (82 kWh in total).
The electric motor, located in the rear axle, develops 204 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. When connected to an AC outlet, ID Buzz can draw power up to 11 kW, and at a DC outlet, the maximum allowable current is 170 kilowatts. The battery will be charged from 5 to 80% at this outlet in 30 minutes.
The Volkswagen ID Buzz Cargo starts at 54,400 euros. However, with the reduction of 7,500 euros from the German state, the price of this option drops.
The 2022 Volkswagen ID Buzz orders are open in several European countries. Subsequently, the electric minivan will receive a version with a smaller battery and another version with an all-wheel drive.
