Based on the Cooper SE, Mini has developed an all-electric convertible car: Mini Cooper SE Cabriolet. This is a one-off prototype explicitly developed for illustrative reasons. This is the first time it has been shown to the public, and it's happening at "MINI takes the States" in the United States.
Mini only made one Cooper SE electric convertible car prototype to show off its ideas. The Mini brand has not said if it intends to mass-build a convertible version of its electrified vehicle.
When the "MINI takes the States" event is held in the United States, the one-of-a-kind model will be unveiled to the general public for the first time. The unique automobile is predicated on the chassis of a Mini Cooper S Cabriolet. The length of the electric Mini Cabriolet is 3,863 millimeters, the width is 1,727 millimeters, and the height is 2,495 millimeters. In addition, the trunk's volume has not changed from before, measuring at 160l. In terms of power, the Mini Cooper SE Cabriolet is identical to the standard Mini Cooper SE.
The electric motor, rated at 184 horsepower, is identical and allows for a sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 7.7 seconds. The WLTP cycle determines the official range, which is 230 kilometers.
By 2030, Mini hopes to have transitioned entirely to electric vehicles. The Mini car manufacturer claims that by 2027, electric cars will account for 50% of sales.
